Never did like my 8-ply STAs much, but figured i’d try a set of their heavy stuff. Had a chat with their so-called dealer in my area (schwab) earlier and their sales guy on the east coast this morning. What a cluster.
We are always over the barrel for automotive consumables, but STA has bad barrel-side manners. After that call, I would not run STAs if they gave them away.
I’ll wait for Nebraska to get in a set of Samsons later this year. If they can’t, guess I can always get a set of tubeless rims made up.
