how long did it last? I have never rebuilt one using the original greasable design. I used to send them out to get rebuilt. when the guy who was doing them died his 65 year old son took over and he didn't have the finesse to do them right and half of them leaked. I started to run the sealed bearing type after that. I assume there must be some knowledge that has disappeared about how to rebuild them correctly. maybe he polished the sealing surface on the shaft?? who knows...
