So there we were on the Ferry across the James River (Virginia) with a bunch of bikers.
I was test driving George Vest's 1941 WC-6 before I bought it. Big burly, leather-clad biker looks the Command Car up and down and growls in admiration: "nice jeep bro!" Well, I looked his Harley Road King up and down and growled back, "nice Yamaha, bro!". Before he could pull his ball peen hammer on me, I said, this DODGE is no more a Jeep than your Harley is a Yamaha!. Please don't insult this old veteran! His gang was cracking up, the biker looked chagrined and actually said, "sorry bro, didn't mean no disrespect!". One of my favorite stories.
