from hat I have seen and talked to one owner who has done a bit of research over the last 20 years the trucks with that type of fender were an after market kit. the kit required a wheel adapter to make the duallies clear the bed. Factory dually utilines had a wider rear axle so no spacers were needed. the 50s may have been different tho.
