To add to the other’s advice and comments,
You would be ahead to buy a truck from the (dry) west and have it hauled to your area.
Rust repair is expensive and tedious, I know first hand from a truck from upstate NY I restored.
For my current project I bought a replacement cab from Colorado with almost no rust for transplant.
Figure at least $8 - $10k for a truck not needing a lot of work.
2 WD vintage Dodge trucks are much cheaper, Power Wagons are “hot” now.
