The centre pin on my Carryall had drifted out, all the tricks in the world would not get it to move back in. Cut it off years ago. The rolled piece at the cab end has now cracked off. The piece was cracked from day one. Before I roll a tube and weld it in place or spend hours attempting a fix what are my options? Hood does open and close just fine as it is, but the lack of that pin bugs me and strike me as unsafe.
I caught Vaughns hood hinge kit post - but the kit needs mods to work on a Carryall. A bit of trimming would be fine, a bunch of bending or adding metal, not so much.
