I am not sure this is always true but generally I thought with a pickup the frame is part of the suspension and flex helps to soften the ride. Because of this the frame on a suv differs from the truck they are based on in that it is more rigid. I even saw a truck add once touting the three different frame shapes at different points in the truck. I am sure the travelall frame was plenty flexy so not sure what would happen but something to think about especially if you plan to go off road.
