I think we get enough precipitation here that the trees grow fairly fast we logged out just 25 years ago it was a select cut and this time it was select to 18 inches at 5 foot. I got a few estimates and a company from Titusville Pa was by far the high bidder so I signed with them so I don't know how much per board foot.They look at the trees and carry a hand calculator of some kind to figure what they will pay.Some don't like to give a price if they know you are shopping so they are left out. I tell up front that I'm getting more than one offer and if they are interested I will listen. I have a 1939 overhead view of our property and it looked fairly sparse for trees also
