Don, thats totally great and I'm totally jealous you got to be so up close and in person with the new 2.8 and the crew that is pushing them around.
I am trying to talk my dad into putting one into a Jeep CJ that he is building but he has sticker shock. I showed him the cost comparison and his "loss" on investment of building a 4.3 Vortec that he is looking at and think I might have him sold. This engine isn't going to lose much value as long as he maintains it well. I have the ISB170 with an Allison in my Carryall and am looking forward to driving it because I have a feeling its going to be sufficiently powerful enough for my 6k lb truck with 4.57 gears.
