Okay guys. Been trying some different things and methods with the tool. I am now satisfied they it will hold up fine if you follow the steps. I'm making an photo how to and am not finished yet but I'll let you look at what I've got so far. I'm using Marty's method and it makes a world of difference.

When I broke mine I was using a 2 ft breaker and leaning on it hard. Lots of force there. I had used an electric impact prior as well. It may have been fatigued from that too. After using the heat trick, the bolt that broke it came out with no issues.

I had reground the same tool that broke to get it out and it looks and does great. I'll offer the warranty. If you follow the directions and don't use an electric or air impact and it breaks, I'll regrind it for free if you pay the shipping. Most of these will be long enough to get several redo's if you go overboard. I don't think you'll have any issues though as the bolts I was taking out were never taken out before and were in rusty Ohio.

Russ E, Matt H, David T, Joe L and Andrew H, I have received your money and will contact to verify shortly. I will be doing some at a lower rockwell but to buy that steel will mean a cost increase as it isn't on hand. Just email me about this so we don't clutter Joes forum so much.

Thanks for the patience guys.
