I guess if there were no good frames left on the planet, I'd have no choice but the good news is they're still around with no rust & so hopefully by the time those dry up in a few years, CC Sammy will be making them in steel properly.
Aluminum is fine for campers & beer tins but it doesn't fare well when attached to steel. It corrodes worse than properly coated steel & paint doesn't stick well to it.
If they could make them in 1940 in steel...they can make them in 2018 in steel, I say.
There's nothing easy about properly restoring a vehicle.
it takes some time to dig up good parts...the fun is in the hunt.
