Brake drum tool update. Set back

Had a failure today with the tool. I had taken all the screws out of 4 drums I had and one wheel of the WC52. Went out to work on the rest of the brakes today and got one out but the next one was really rusted bad. I put a breaker bar on it and it snapped(pic). I don't want to hide anything with these. May have been an extreme case but I may have to do more trials. I have some more almost ready in A2 and M2 and have contacted some for payment. I'm going to try S7 at maybe a lower rockwell but it's a fine line of being too soft or too brittle. I'm not a metalurgist and if anyone has some tips, I'm all ears. Just trying to give the best piece I can here. Those who have sent funds, let me know via email what you want to do and I totally understand either way. Thanks.
