not much available around here to make anything out of
ended up buying a 12 in course thread bolt cut it down and had the machine shop fine thread the ends so i could mate it to my stock push rod with a adjust nut that i had to make by welding 3 nuts together
the machine shop said the bolt was soft material so the threads came kind of ruff but they work for now(later will get some good mat. to make it out of)
drilled out the brass fittings in the stock mc to fit the push rod and bolted the mc to it s bracket slid the push rod thru and connected it to the stock pedal push rod and there is enuff travel for the pedal as it hits the floor before the adj nut stops at the fitting
seems to slide well and i wanted to see if it all mated up and it did but now going to take it all out and clean out the brass drillings from drilling out the fitting etc. and fill it with grease and see what happens
don t really know what i am doing(no real experience with push rods and pedals etc.) but i feel like i am getting somewhere and having fun doing it and at least working on the truck again even if it ends up being a bad design and i have to go another route
scared it could bind somehow but does not seem to
