I do wonder if I'm doing something wrong since I have so much trouble with the different vendors & service providers. I mean,
I've got the extremely popular radiator guy, who doesn't want to work on radiators.
Old time water pump rebuilder who rips the pump apart and just gives up.
Second "specialist" water pump guy that messes the pump up.
Generator rebuilder that mixes up the field windings.
Brake drum guy that absolutely refuses to mark what brake drum the different shoes are arced for. Then smashes the seals into the wheel bearings.
Driveshaft guy that can not understand why I'd want him to change the length of a new driveshaft. (He. did do it though.)
The paint guy that could not understand why I would NOT want my primer to exactly match the color of sand blasted steel.
Maybe I have something wrong in how I communicate? Its been extremely bizarre. But the silver lining is, these people make for a much more interesting story.
I live in fear of the future "Body man" who's going to try his hand at doing bodywork on this machine. Who will it be?
Probably me.
