in the late 50s the power steering was an actual power steering box. then in early 60s they switched to a power assist system like the regular trucks used from 61 to 71. in 67 when dual circuit brakes were required they redesigned the brake pedal and bracket and the MC faced backwards and was accessed through a plate in the floor. power brakes were remote mounted units on all US market models whether single or dual rexervoir. The export slant 6 truck I have seen the pics of used a swing pedal firewall mounted pedal set up probably from a civilian truck
