OT Copper Plating of Steel - Who to use?

I need to get some small parts copper plated... I want a rustic copper look and not some chrome look, but they also need to be fairly scratch and gouge resistant.

I know there is copper electro-plating and also there is copper colored powder coating of various colors.

I am open to suggestions and ideas. The parts are 12 total 1/8" thick mild steel plates of 2" x 4" dimensions with a few holes in them.
