Fuel pumps

Hi,

Are the standard 230 and 251 fuel pumps interchangeable? I've read someplace that they were, at least as far as hooking to engine, wanted to be sure.

Looks like there are two styles, one inverted with the lever arm flipped? Like for mounting clearance with frame/manifolds/ect?

The 588 seems to be the same as the M847 which now seems to cross to be the 73201.
