So I have pretty much figured out the wiring for this machine. Then I ran into the blinker switch. Now, I had assumed that it just took a flashing signal from a flasher unit and directed that left or right. That would make 12V in for flasher, 12V in for blinker and L & R output.

I have this Signal-Stat 800 that came with the truck. Its bloody complicated! Its like this invasive electrical entity that wants to control everything. The diagram has you cutting wires in all over.

There has to be a better way..

What are people using to control blinkers? Something simple perhaps?
