I would say yes. I recall that in high school back in the 50's I took Plastics Club. What we used was clear plastic? obtained by taking Gov't surplus bullet resistant fighter plane flat canopy pieces from WWII and cutting them into strips about 8" wide then cutting through the gel/latex compound between the 2 layers of plastic. Subsequently we peeled off the clear goo and had our raw plastic. Talk about recycling!!
