When I was researching lockers I seem to remember Detroit locker having a recommendation for tandem axle trucks, and they had a reason. I searched the website and cannot find it again. The detroit locker is very similiar to a lock rite but replaces the case instead of reusing the case. You might search the detroit locker page and remember they do make them for heavy trucks.

I have tried about all the different lockers but have not experience in the snow. The little snow we get here anymore and the heavy use of salt means my m37 stays home. I have a jeep rubicon but have never overridden the low range safety and 4:1 low is too low for street use even in the snow. It has electronic nannies that work well enough also. I have spoken to more than one person that hated auto lockers in snow but I suspect that is personal preference. Also with 4 back tires I would expect that fishtailing is not really a concern anyway.

Just my thoughts.
