2 of the trucks we had were heavily loaded offroad all the time. Normal load was 6000. Offroad travel made it worse. These were all first gen Cummins trucks. Never had an issues with the front hubs. We did go through both 727's within the first year along with Dodges sad steering universal design. The Michelin tires that came with them blew out due to belt shifts. Over half of them blew before I told them I refused to drive them till we switched them all out. No issues after that.
Never broke a dodge frame or leaf spring, can't say that for the previous Chevy's.
