I have seen NOS rebuild kits for them on ebay. they are not uncommon kits because that system was used in other MVs as well. I would try to find NOS because the new bearings from a parts store are probably from china. but you might only need bearings and not a reuilbd. none of the 3 WW2 12 volts gens I have had needed anything.
did you ever oil the bearings via the little oil cups?
