VC1s are W 205790 to W 206259
VC3s are W 22134 to W 24506
VC5s are W 22134 to W 24506
There are obviously overlaps in the numbers,
But this gets you in the range
On the VC1s and VC6s the numbers were on the licence plate as you said, as the were considered cars. The VC3s and VC5s were on the hood
