General Paul Tibbets, Pilot of the Enola Gay, has a new book out called "The Return of the Enola Gay". I thought it was good reading. Yes some of the bombs were for Germany. General Tibbets was in Wichita a couple of weeks ago to check on the restoration of "Doc" the last restorable B-29, being restored at Boeing Wichita. The Doc was powered by DODGE built 18 cylinder radial engines.
