I took my 59 Townie to the welding supply store last weekend. Just as I was about to back out of my parking space, a lowered toyota "gansta car" pulled in and parked about 15 feet behind me (not a designated parking place). The passenger bailed out and went into the shop while the driver seemed content to watch me TRY to back out of my space. I backed out about 5 feet and stopped, figuring this would give the other driver time to move out of the way, but he didn't. The driver seemed content to sit there while I see-sawed back and forth trying to get out. Well, on my forth and final back-up, I carefully aligned my exhaust output with his window and allowed the 318 poly to breath on him a while before finally pulling out. Maybe next time he will choose a designated parking space.
