Demil bill is bad, but pity the French

They've got a law about to go into effect that prohibits re-selling any car made before 1997 because it might have asbestos in it! The dealers are trying to get a one-year moratorium so they can figure out exactly which models had asbestos in them in which years, so it still sounds like they'll prohibit selling any old car even if it just has asbestos in the head gasket. God help us if any of our Michigan politicians thinks that sounds like a good idea.
