I have a 77' M-886 w/full time 4x4 ,I have a friend that owns the same type of truck, he drives his over 1000 miles a month with it on the freeways, he says that removing the front driveshaft saves him gas mileage & wear & tear on the front end, I myself dont believe this can anyone out there give me their 2 cents worth on this subject?
