Troy-bilt went bankrupt recently and the roto-tiller products were bought by MTD, the company that makes those wonderfull quality products for mass mechandisers --- They have actually been making them for awhile now and the traditional Troy-Bilt quality is no longer there so find and get a older Troy-Bilt 6 HP Horse model and you'll have a classic "tank".
However they're "weak spot" is the bearings/seals down on the tine shaft.
Flip the machine up in the air and check this area out closely looking for up/down play and gear oil leaks.
We'll be looking forward to some fresh vegtables at VPW's rally next year !!!
