dealing with thousandths of an inch.
if you take drums and shoes in they will measure each drum and arc accordingly. or if you have a drum micrometer you can take the measurements, mark each pair of shoes so you know which drum they will go with and they will arc based on your measurements. The standard arc is to set the machine for .010 under the actual drum spec. Brake and clutch supply will probably not even charge you to do it. or if they do it will be minimal. They have another shop in Tacoma called Cascade Friction that can do it as well. Or I will do them for you if you on the west side of the water.
Adjusting these brakes is not like later floating servo type brakes. These systems will stop very well but the adjustment needs to be spot on. they are a fixed anchor or non servo design so no room for error like servo types have.
