The wheels are chrome plated over aluminum. The chrome is starting to pit in several areas on each wheel. I got 11 years out of them, so I am just going for some new rims.
The major irritation is they are Weld Racing Wheels, which were sold with a lifetime structural warranty. But the company when under 6 months ago. What good is lifetime warranty if the company is no more?
