the late 80s the whole classic car market went crazy. then it collapsed in the 90s. I remember seeing classic cars sell for 90 to 120K in 1988 that you would be lucky to get 35k for in 1995. the market has been up again for a number of years but some types of cars have not recovered in value to 80s levels. some are worth even more
