10K in my opinion is undersized. Minimum 12K rating and 14K even better. I would not get a trailer without 16" 8 lug wheels. The 15" 5 lugs just don't cut it with the weights you will have. My trailer with my PW or Carryall on it scales at 9K on the axles and there is 1K on the tongue. So your talking 10K so a 10K trailer would be at max weight or very close to it. That is with no extra parts or equipment on the trailer and the trucks are empty. Remember when they say a weight rating of 10K that includes the load, trailer and the tongue weight.
