Have a look at the G503 Tools and Equipment Forum and start collecting tools that are contemporary with your truck.

G503, Alloy Artifacts, and Garage Journal all have a lot of classic tool info. I collect wartime Plomb tools for my wartime trucks, 1950's Proto tools for the '53 Sno-Cat, and so on.

There are some very cheap tools to be had, and the quality is second to none, but of course the wartime tools are all dull finish due to the alloying element and plating restrictions (saves all that polishing though.)
