Thanks Greg and Jerry. I will also ground to chassis. Funny you should mention tail lights. I bought the "Dodge" tail light kit from Roberts and didnt notice they were for 6V system. So now I'm trying to figure a way to modify the socket so it fits an 1157 bulb. THe bulb dimples are offset, whereas the housing socket are straight across... if that makes sense.
