Thanks for the response Don. I think I will go with their injectors at this point....well, once I get the new seal in the IP and checks the seals and coppers on the injectors.
Im still happy with having gone with the earlier 24 valve motor for the lack of injector problems alone....but Im not going to act like I havent seen my share of issues. Other than the transmission and a VP44 that failed at 230k ish, I really havent had too many big problems. Thanks again for the advice.
BTW, the Suburban has been my favorite vehicle so far...well, after I dropped in the Cummins anyway. The 4.10 cogs made towing a breeze through the hills. I was a bit disappointed in the 10-11mpg but it beats the heck out of the 6-8 I got towing with the 6.5 in my old crew cab. Maybe it was really 12-13 without the fuel leak.
