anyone have any experience swapping in an electric pump for steering. These seem to be a hot item to replace a belt driven pump. the small racer guys use this to pickup 8hp. it draws 50A under full lock and about 10A at rest. the wiring is not complicated. ignition, constant hot from a relay and ground. it would be cool to try it. the dodge steering setup doesnt require a ton of pressure to operate. my ford pump puts out too much flow in addition to too much noise.
