I only talked at length with one guy who had a 2010 crew cab diesel that he towed exotic cars all over the country with. it was a 40 foot enclosed with hard wood floors and fancy lighting to impress the car owners. lol. he didn't have suspension issues at 250K but almost all those miles are on the highway which doesn't wear out parts much. its the city driving and traffic jam highways that wears vehicles out.
