I counted 121 trucks parked at the town square after the parade. This included two that I was unable to photograph as they left the square immediately after the parade ended and two more that showed up at the square later on. I believe these later two may have been local Power Wagons.
I know of at least four that remained at the fairgrounds and were not driven in the parade. I too heard of 160+ trucks that were registered. Don't know if all of those actually made it to the Rally or not.
I would rate this Rally as definitely one of the top three VPW Rallies of all time. If we keep this up, they will have to build more motels for us. I have never seen the campgrounds so full or so many trucks already in Fairfield when we arrived on Tuesday. It looked more like a typical Thursday. And, we filled the stock car track to about 80% capacity for the panoramic photos.
Whew! My head is still reeling.
