Mini Starter For a 360?

It appears that my rebuilt cast iron remote solenoid 3 bolt starter isn't up to the job of re- starting the 360 in my WDX once the engine heats up. With the the hydraulic clutch bell housing, NP 435 transmission and Ray Suiter's power steering conversion, space is at a premium and I can't locate even a re-built starter like the one I have much less a new one. So what's a body to do? Has anybody been able to get a new, high torque small starter that works with all the constraints I have?
