That's an embarrassingly good question.
Grumbly was shipped with 4.89's from the factory. When I bought the truck from Legacy (they flipped it on eBay), it was advertised as "runs and drives well". During the auction, I was informed via email that the steering was worn out and many of the brake components were seized. I arranged with them to swap two axles out of a donor chassis that they knew ran and drove well before the body was taken off. I assumed they swapped the axles entirely but it's possible that they just exchanged the steering linkage and hubs.
I'll hoist a tire when I get home and check.
