You've been patient long enough, too bad it took a lawyer to motivate the mechanic. I too am always lenient when having someone do any kind of work for me,as i understand unforseen problems that arise or other emergency that a contracted person may have to move too,but you situation was too long and unreasonable time frame. Had a similar situation where hired a contractor to replace roofs on two homes after a massive hail storm one april. On the contract gave a date of September completion, still hadnt done it by December. Too cold to replace a roof here in the midwest then, asked for money back he quoted contract that he would only refund 20% if i broke contract. Ended up lenghty process but involed attroney generals office, I claimed he overbooked jobs and also elderly fraud as one of the homes was my 93 year old mothers. Got the money back two years later, hired contractor who replaced roofs in 90 days. Was in flagstaff over the weekend, drove up from tucson, mother worked at navajo ordnance depot in the early 1940s. Hope you get a good finished truck your happy with.
