Well, I haven't had a whole truck shipped, but I did recently have an engine shipped, and I used a freight broker to provide me with numerous trucking company options. The freight broker I used is Freight Center. You can go on their website and request a quote, and they will respond with a list of quotes from quite a few companies, along with their prices and estimated shipping times (i.e., how many days). You can also call them or do an online chat session, which I did, and they were very helpful.

You will need to know the size of the item you are shipping and a good estimate of its weight. You will have to sign up for an account on their website, but that's super-easy.

It cost me $300 to ship my engine from the east coast to Texas and it got here in just a few days. I also paid for the optional insurance, which has a minimum cost if $50. I selected Roadrunner Transportation Services.

I was very pleased with the way the whole thing turned out.

I don't know if Freight Center, or the shippers they use, will ship entire vehicles, but it's worth a try to see if they will.
