I am in the process of going thru brakes on my 67 W500 and need too replace inner wheel seal on brake drum. No success on trying local sources due too this models obscurity doesnt even show up in computer and most have tossed their old books. Called a friend at a Mopar dealer no success. Tried using dimensions of seal napa since no number on seal said not sure can get using dimensions. So decided if I could at least come up with a part number evil bay might lend some success. So I called Vintage and talked too Steve low and behold He had a book and researched part number. So with his help and a part number now have several options for the seal. Thanks Steve was good too talk too you again. I have dealt with him and the folks at Vintage Power Wagon when needed something outside what I can find locally for 20 plus years and they have always been friendly and helpful. Kudos to Steve : Note ((This kind of stuff makes you think what non-mechanical thinking types decides not too include a vehicle in computer data sources or just throws the books out at parts dealers. We are loosing tons of knowledge too the computer age and the knowledge not passed down too the younger generations and their lack of interest in just doing.))and gee this thought is from a man that made his living 20 plus years in the computer business while he wrenched fast cars and old trucks in the off hours.
