Laminated for windscreens, toughened for the rest. The toughened glass is designed to shatter into small pieces if/when it gets smashed and the pieces will scratch you, but don't generally cause serious injury. The laminated windscreens crack, but the plastic interlayer holds the pieces together as much as possible.
