My painter took 18 months to get the cab done. He got the doors at the same time and they are not done yet. I have visited there several times since the first oif the year and the doors are moving around the shop with new metal work having been done. I still need to have the hood, bed and a box of small stuff done along with the doors. The paint was a custom mix using the inside of the door as the sample. I have decided to use a different painter to finish up the job. I have to buy more paint and have it custom matched again. If needed I can save the older batch and use for the final coats over the newer batch. It took me 6 months to make this decision. The first painter and I agreed on a total price and I have paid him as the pieces were completed so I am not out any money. My fenders look real good so i am sad that he just can't get it done
