Cant speak for electric power on a MU-2, but sure its possible, anything is with some thought. The hydraulic drive mu-2 works very nice. Takes up little space and solves the drive shaft clearance as can be found on cummins conversions. Proper choice of the Hydraulic motor is of prime importance. Controls can be as simple as a center open spool manual valve to a complete MileMarker
electric hydraulic valve system...read costly....but slick.
