Several years ago somebody on this page had linked to a PW for sale. Fast forward three months and it was still for sale. I was taking my mother to the airport which was 1.5 hrs away and this truck was another 20-30 minutes from there.
I talked to the owner and arranged to meet. He told me how good it was and rust free, was asking $2k. I get there to find the rustiest PW I have ever encountered. He should have said free rust. The crossmembers were so rotted you could fit your hand through the rust holes.
I offered him $300. He says meet me half way, give me $1500. I explained to him that amount was not half way and the offer was still $300. He says give me $400. Nope. I stood firm and got a parts truck for $300.
