If it ain't broke, don't fix it....
Seriously, I used to tune up my '65 Volvo on a regular basis when I was delivering pizzas....and it would never run right afterwards. I'd get it to factory spec, then it would take about two days of tweaking by ear on the side of the road before I got it right again.
Granted, that weren't no Dodge, but an engine is an engine far as I can tell....
Double check your timing.
