This is an SAE#2 or #3 bellhousing. The diameter of the bolt circle will tell you. I think what we'd like to know is:
1) will the circular flywheel housing that adapts the engine to the circular bellhousing bolt as is to a flathead 230 or 251?
2) Is the transmission 5th direct or overdrive?
3) Is it synchromesh in 2-5?
4) My Clark 280Vo is "only" 15" long. On my M37 bolted to the stock bellhousing in the stock locat1on there's enough room for a driveshaft. How long is this thing? If it's over 15" it's also very heavy.
