You need a military surplus 24v alternator. I got mine from Parramore Surplus in Florida for $100. Then you need a harness to connect it to your truck. I got that from Vermont Commercial Salvage for $25. Keep the pulley from you generator, you need to use that on the surplus alternator. The whole swap takes about an hour, if that. Make sure you disconnect the battery first. I didn't and got the surprise of my life.
